Cisco Expressway C & E Deployment Training

(classroom or an online class)

Cisco Expressway C & E is simple if you configure a single service: MRA or B2B or Cloud for example, but becomes more complex if you configure multiple services. This course focuses on the configuration of multiple services. Multiple hands-on labs allow you to practice successfully implementing URI dial plans for multisite deployments and deploy certificates and secure your environment. We deploy collaboration edge using the recommended “Unified Traversal” zone model to support:

  • Non-secure Open Video Federations
  • Secure Open Video Federations
  • MRA with single and multiple domains
  • Using Expressway to connect on-premises to the Cisco cloud
  • Understand Cisco CSR v11.6 Collaboration Edge architecture evolution
  • Describe DNS deployment considerations and implement internal and external DNS
  • Describe and deploy certificates to secure communications through Expressway
  • Implementing Cisco Unified IM and Presence and Cisco Jabber Desktop and Mobile
  • Understand Cisco Expressway Call Handling: Zones, Search Rules and Pattern Matching
  • Implement a dial plan design for deploying multiple services on Expressway.
Build open and closed video federations
  • Deploy MRA with single and multiple domains
  • Describe Spark Expressway implementation requirements.
  • Troubleshoot Jabber, MRA and Collaboration Edge
  • Use Expressway to connect the Cisco Cloud and On-premises deployments.
  • Use the jabber diagnostics tool and the collaboration solutions analyzer to troubleshoot Cisco Jabber, MRA and Collaboration Edge
